We are able to perform a remote notarization online using an audio/visual conference rather than an individual having to be present before the notary at the time of notarization.
How We Work
What Do You Need To Notarize with The Notary Hub, Inc.?
As the signer, you must inform the Notary about the type of notarization you require. Notaries can explain the primary notarial acts, but they cannot recommend one over another. It is against the law for a Notary Public to give such advice unless they are also a licensed attorney.
Acknowledgments
The purpose of an acknowledgment is to declare that you have willingly signed a document.
Jurats
The purpose of a jurat is for you to swear or affirm that the contents of the document are true.
Copy Certifications
The purpose of a certified copy is to have the Notary confirm that the copy is an exact match of the original. This is not allowed in Ohio.
