Service Description

An acknowledgment is required for documents involving the transfer or control of valuable assets, such as real property deeds, powers of attorney, and trusts. The signer must appear in person to be identified and declare that the signature on the document is their own, made willingly, and that the document's provisions are intended to take effect as written. Our Pricing: Acknowledgment Service: $5.00 per stamp Mobile/Travel Fees for Franklin County: Flat Fee of $40.00 Additional Fees: Waiting Time (30 minutes): $25.00 No-Show Fee: $45.00 Example: 1 notarial act ($5) + Travel ($40) = $45 total fee (Note: This example is based on Ohio-regulated notarization fees and does not include any additional certificates that may be required.) *Please note: Minimum traveling fees are still due if the signing does not occur for any reason when the notary arrives, or if an appointment is canceled less than 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
