Service Description

An acknowledgment is typically performed on documents controlling or conveying ownership of valuable assets. Such documents include real property deeds, powers of attorney and trusts. For an acknowledgment, the signer must appear in person at the time of notarization to be positively identified and to declare ("acknowledge") that the signature on the document is his or her own, that it was willingly made and that the provisions in the document are intended to take effect exactly as written. Acknowledgments are $5.00 per stamp Mobile/Travel Fees: Franklin County: Flat Fee of $40.00 minimum Additional Fees may apply: Wait time = $25 per 30 min wait No Show Fee = $45 Example:: 1 notarial act ($5) + Travel ($40) = $45 total fee (This example is based on actual Ohio-regulated notarization fee but it does not include any certificates that may also be required.) *Minimum Traveling Fees are still due if signing does not occur for any reason when Notary arrives, or if an appointment is canceled 30 minutes or less prior to the scheduled time. Please be sure to cancel within 2 hours of the scheduled appointment.
